Mari Carrera
 Born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico, Mari is of Spanish decent. At a young age she stood out for her abilities to speak, sing and perform. She was continually sought out to represent her school in speech and singing competitions where she was awarded first place at numerous national contests. She soon became certified as a professional Voice-Over announcer for both Radio and Television in Mexico and began voice recording and singing professionally. Her diverse abilities allowed her to portray a neutral Spanish or multiple regional accents as needed, making her a sought out talent at a very young age. Mari came to the U.S. in 1988, to learn English and continue her education. While in college, she was signed to a major Hispanic recording label gaining a top ten single within the Latin Radio Hit-Parade. While pursuing her singing career, Mari continued her studies and obtained her Associates in Arts Degree in Broadcasting in 1993. With her degree secured she began working as a Traffic Manager and continued providing freelance voice recordings for both the movie and television industries.
In 1996, she rose to the position of Broadcast Producer and began production of Radio and Television advertising. Gaining experience within the industry afforded her the unique opportunity to produce a political campaign on Spanish Radio and Television for a top official in Miami, Florida. Mari moved in front of the camera in 1998, becoming a TV show host for the Spanish division of the Home Shopping Network in partnership with Univision Network. Located in Tampa, Florida the show aired nationally on Galavision and Gems TV to later become its own network, Home Shopping Español (HSE) airing 24/7 both, in the US and  Mexico. Her success in reaching the diverse Hispanic population is attributed to her knowledge of the vast regional differences in the Spanish Language, as well as her ability to speak a “Neutral” Spanish that is appealing to everyone. Ultimately, Mari recognized the fact that many companies were missing the opportunity to reach out to the Hispanic Market. By founding In SPANISH Productions, she now proudly offers her outsourced production services to companies targeting the Spanish speaking population within the United States. Currently, Mari is the Show Host of Discovery Channel's Capsules "Ideas para la Casa".
